读后续写之优美句子

要想在读后续写中拿到高分,仅仅学会读-思-写的方法还远远不够。我们平时应该多看原版英语小说,摘抄背诵优美句子并且在读后续写中加以灵活运用。只有这样,我们才能在续写中思绪飘飞,妙笔生花。

一) 细节描写

细节描写: 多描写,少叙述

1. 动作描写(vivid action)*****

动作要有过程,有细节;另外动词要尽量生动,具体。

1)Tim slammed the door and stormed into the kitchen. 2) Oh, thank God! She pressed her hand to her chest, trying to catch her breath.

3) Tina patted her pockets. Nothing. “Oh, shit! Where are my keys?”

4) Seized by an overwhelming sense of fear, I froze there, not knowing what to do.

5) She crept along the path, bent over swiftly and cupped her hands around the butterfly gently.

6)Tina’s eyes widened, and her lips formed a silent “Wow!”

7) She breathed into her hands to warm her numb fingers.

8)As his mother switched off the light and left the room, Michael tensed. He huddled under the covers, gripped the sheets, and held his breath as the wind brushed past the curtain.

9)Tina threw herself on the floor and kicked her legs. “I want it! I want it! I want It!”

10) Taking a deep breath, Mary pushed open the door and stepped inside.

2.心理描写(inner thoughts)*

1) I looked around-couldn’t see him. I thought, “He must have got out somehow.” So I opened the door. (from Black Don)

3) I gave myself a good telling off (责备). “You wimp (懦夫)!” I told myself. “Fancy being scared of six rabbits!” A little voice in my head said: “Rabbits don’t have fiery (火红的) eyes.” (from Black Don)

4) She struggled to keep her face expressionless as her father patted Tom on the shoulder. “Yeah, of course, Daddy’s golden child can do no wrong.”

2. 情感描写(emotions)**

情感常常通过具体的动作表现出来

1) Hearing the news, so desperate was she that she drowned sadness in wine.

2) Her hands were shaking. She was on the verge of tears.

3) The boy froze with terror, too scared to move an inch.

4) The lady’s face turned pale and she stood there tongue-tied

5) He stood in the center, eyes shining and his heart thundering with excitement.

6) Seeing a big smile spread across her face, I felt so proud of what we did.

7) The little boy threw himself into his father’s arms after being separated from him for

a whole year.

8) Her tears gathered and flowed down her face.

9) Her heart ached, tears streaming down her cheeks.

10) She felt so ashamed that she could feel her face burning.

4.五感描写(five senses)*

1) Rain drummed on the windshield(挡风玻璃) and the roof of my Honda, drowning out the hum(嗡嗡声) of the engine.(sight,hearing)

2) The scent of salt and brush(灌木丛) hung in the air. I lifted my nose into the ocean breeze and inhaled deeply.(smell)

3) She pushed back the tent flap and wrinkled her nose. Ugh. The inside of the tent smelled like sweat, dirty stockings and damp wool. No way would she stay in this rat hole.(smell)

4) Footsteps echoed behind me and the stench(臭味) of stale beer hit my nose. I walked faster.(hearing,smell)

5.语言描写(language) **

1) “Don’t lie to me, damn it.” He smashed his fist down on the table.

2) Tina looked the actress up and down. “You look a lot taller on camera.”

3)“Why are the young never grateful?” wondered Mr Wopsle sadly.

4)“Third time this week!” he roared across the table.

5) She managed a forced smile, muttering “Thank you, anyway,” and turned toward the door.

6) “Dad, will Uncle Paul come to look for us?” I asked Dad in a shaking voice.

7)“I know what day it is,” Dudley repeated, coming right up to him.

8) Mike crossed his throat and spoke in low, polite tones.

6.环境描写(setting)

1)It was cold, with an east wind blowing from the sea, and it was getting dark.

2)One morning Mary woke to find bright sunshine flooding her room.

3) The rain began again that night. It beat against the window, waking Mary up. She listened as the wind howled around the house and down the chimney.

4) We watched the small boat carry him out to the middle of the river, where the great black prison-ship stood high out of the water, held by its rusty chains.

5) Without saying anything more, I looked across the ridges of sand that were stretched

out before us in the moonlight.

6)And so with the sunshine and the great bursts of leaves growing on the trees—just as things grow in fast movies—I had that familiar conviction(相信)that life was beginning over again with the summer.

7外貌描写(appearance)

1) Mr Wopsle had a large nose and a shining, bald forehead, and was the church clerk.

3) Mr Pumblechook, who had a shop in the nearest town, was a fat, middle-aged man with a mouth like a fish, and staring eyes.

4)In the moonlight I looked at his pale forehead, his closed eyes, his locks of hair that trembled in the wind.

二)修饰手法的运用**

1) To someone who has seen a dozen people frown or turn their faces away, your smile is like the sun breaking through the clouds. (明喻)

2)The smile on her face shone like a diamond. (明喻)

3)Suddenly, the boy noticed a small golden cloud came racing up to lick his face too.(暗喻)

4) When she heard the bad news, a river of tears poured out.(夸张)

5)With the cold wind howling in the dark sky, the trees cast frightening shadows in the shape of aggressive beasts.(无灵主语的使用)

6)A cold feeling crept over his heart and made him shiver.

7) However, the car had left the wolf far behind, which made him sigh with relief.

8) These words, like a ray of sunshine , warmed his heart.

9) On the way home, night breeze made him at ease. (无灵主语的使用)

三)词汇、语法结构的丰富和灵活运用*****

1)She sobbed, hiding her face in her hands. (分词结构)

2) Tears filling her eye, she offered her sincere thanks to the man.

3) Hearing the bags unloaded on the driveway, Poppy’s ears pricked up and suddenly he was on all fours.

4) Immediately, an absolute darkness ruled the forest. (副词或者介词短语作状语)

5)Mac’s heart beat wildly, and he dashed towards the car without delay.(副词或者介词短语作状语)

*The moment Mac settled himself on the seat, Paul started the car in the flash.(时间状语从句)

6) Exhausted and hungry, I wondered if I could find my way home. (形容词或者形容词短语作补语)

7) Afraid that I might hurt the lovely creature, I automatically let out a cry to stop the horse. (形容词或者形容短语作补语)

8)With the box tipping over, out came a small golden cloud . (倒装 )

9)No sooner had the poor man got in than Paul closed the door. (倒装 )
