摘要： The present invention discloses a Z type belt tensioner comprising: an armhaving a first end and a second end; a tensioner member coupled to a first end of thearm; And an auxiliary pressing member arranged between the tensioner member and theauxiliary pressing member. Upon tensioning of the belt, the second end of the arm issubjected to a hub load applied by the belt and the auxiliary pressing member is locatedat the point of applying an auxiliary pressing force against the hub load. This makes itpossible to reduce the bending of the arm. The invention also relates to a method forcounteracting a hub load in such a belt tensioner and a method for assembling such abelt tensioner.
