摘要：A system and method for the customization of media content metadata that istransmitted to any one of a plurality of end user devices of differing types. The system is
adapted to modify individual records or even individual fields from the entire gamut ofavailable metadata into a metadata feed which is optimally suited for display upon thetype of end user device. Additionally, the system is also able to modify the records orindividual fields from a list of all metadata instances according to pre-recorded userpreferences. The result is a system that optimally utilizes the current connection path inorder to reduce congestion thereon, or to alleviate any user potential frustration causedby sporadic performance of the overloaded interconnection path.
