《卖花姑娘》是金日成1930年在中国吉林省吉林市一带从事*工作时创作的一部歌剧，1972年在金正日的亲自指导下改编成电影。片中卖花姑娘一家人的命运始终牵动着人们的心，催人泪下的情节和动人的音乐旋律使它成为那时的经典。后来，该片被译制成中文在中国上映，中文出版插曲全部由中国当时最著名的歌唱家朱逢博演唱，歌声优美动听，反响热烈，成为中国观众十分熟悉的一部经典的朝鲜电影。该片曾获得第18届国际电影节的特别奖和特等奖章。
